Google has integrated dynamic remarketing into its Gmail Ads product, the time of this couldn’t have been better with Christmas being just around the corner. In this blog, we take a closer look at how online retailers can take advantage of showcasing their products directly in customers Gmail accounts.
What are dynamic remarketing ads?
Dynamic remarketing ads work in the same way as standard remarketing ads with the main difference being that e-commerce advertisers are able to dynamically insert their products into image ads.
It’s even more impressive as the products that are shown to the users are personalised based on their on-site behaviour, in other words, if you are a mobile phone accessories retailer with lots of products, the user will be shown the exact products that they looked at rather than a random selection.
This is powerful stuff!
So what’s changed?
Dynamic Remarketing was available on the Google Display Network until now. Google have now added it’s popular Gmail platform to the mix which means extended reach for advertisers with an ability to reconnect with their customers on Gmail.
Here is the user experience for Dynamic Remarketing on Gmail.
How do I set up Dynamic Remarketing in Gmail ads?
You don’t need to do anything, your remarketing, and dynamic remarketing ads will automatically be shown on Gmail.
